"It's my future, I want to assure today
is in place for tomorrow."
Who you choose to negotiate, manage and settle your financial matters is as important as what they do.

Getting Started
Is your debt getting in the way of your life? Overdue bills, credit card debt, and medical expenses can quickly pile up, making it impossible to stay afloat, never mind get ahead or even meet your monthly payments. If you're like many people and are struggling financially, where can you turn for help?
Easy-to-Understand System
By putting your financial situation in Four Peaks' hands, you're signing on for us to negotiate,
on your behalf, your unsecured debts enrolled in our program. Once we've helped you determine your total amount
of unsecured debt, our specialist will work with you to determine the appropriate monthly dollar amount that
you will deposit into your Special Purpose account in order save towards negotiated settlement. This amount is
typically significantly less than your current minimum payments, and goes toward paying off your debt (not simply
paying credit card interest charges). Once you enroll in the "Debt Reduction Program" we contact your
creditors in an attempt to handle future creditor communications. You are requested to avoid using credit while
on the program. After funds have accrued to make reasonable offers, we begin negotiating with your creditors
individually. Please note, it will take a minimum of three months of savings before we are in a position to make
settlement offers. Once a settlement is negotiated with a creditor, you will be notified via an email notification
from us. After the account is paid, your creditors may report to the credit rating bureaus that your accounts
are "settled in full," "settled," "paid," "paid by settlement", or "settled
for less than the full amount." Either way, you no longer owe on this account, and the balance is zero.

Determining Your Unsecured Debt:
At Four Peaks Financial Services, we know that every case is different, and we're equipped to help all types of clients settle their unsecured debts.
What is Unsecured Debt?
Debt is money you have promised to pay a creditor according to a particular schedule. It is "unsecured" debt if you have not pledged any real or personal property as collateral for that debt. Typical examples of unsecured debt include credit card(s), personal or signature loan(s), and medical bills.
The other common type of debt is "secured debt" - money that was borrowed with a condition that if you fail to make your payments, one (or more) of your possessions (collateral) can be seized and sold by the secured creditor. This type of debt includes things mortgage(s), car loan/lease(s), school loans, and financing contract(s) for other property, like furniture.
Debt Settlement Process
Debt settlement is an agreement in which both debtor and creditor resolve to settle a debt for less than what is owed.
Use of a Third Party Processor
To ensure a successful settlement process, funds need to be readily available to pay the settlement amounts agreed upon by Four Peaks on behalf of each client. These negotiated settlements with the creditors must be immediately paid in full upon the dates agreed upon; therefore, the client's monthly payments are held in a separate third-party special purpose account to ensure an efficient transfer.
In the unlikely event that Four Peaks is unable to negotiate with a creditor to settle a particular unsecured debts, that single account would be dropped from the program. Four Peaks would then reduce your program time accordingly.
